Hello, friends. I'm Aaron, a common pastor, church planter, aspiring coffee roaster and sometimes author. My greatest joy is co-creating with the King in his ongoing, unfolding Kingdom work. This is where I process some of what I’m learning, unlearning and relearning. Welcome.
About
In the summer of 2018 our family moved into the heart of south Knoxville with the intention of planting a new work in the way of Jesus here.
Most of that first year was spent praying, listening, sharing our table, learning the stories of our neighbors, watching for what God was up to in our midst and asking what good news might sound like and the kingdom might look like in this place.
Over the next year a new community began to take shape around our table, others joined us from around the city and Commonwealth was born.
In its simplest form, the word commonwealth means a community founded for the common good.
Our dream is to see loving redemptive communities planted in neighborhoods throughout Knoxville that together live in the way of Jesus for the renewal of our city.
